Shadowland
“The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.”
This is my ongoing series of “vignettes” centered around the theme of sanctuary, both physical and emotional. With photographic textures as the background, I create all the pieces digitally by stacking layers of hand-drawn shapes with nature and animal silhouettes, each one becoming a square, two-dimensional home for the creatures that reside in them. - GRJ
